How We Work

Eight stages, followed properly.

A consistent method is what lets the outcome be different every time. Here is exactly what happens, in what order, and what you receive at each point.

    Discovery

    We start by understanding requirements, lifestyle, site conditions, expectations and budget — before a single layout is drawn.

  2. 02

    Consultation

    A working conversation about opportunities, priorities and preferences, so the objectives of the project are agreed in plain terms.

  3. 03

    Concept Development

    Moodboards, spatial planning and an overall design direction, presented as a small number of considered options rather than a catalogue.

  4. 04

    Design Development

    Layouts, finishes, lighting, furniture and detailed specifications are resolved and documented.

  5. 05

    Visualisation

    3D views and renders, where applicable, so the proposed design can be understood and adjusted before anything is committed.

  6. 06

    Material Selection

    Surfaces, finishes, furniture and key design elements are finalised against samples, not screens.

  7. 07

    Execution

    Implementation is coordinated with continuous attention to design intent, sequencing and quality on site.

  8. 08

    Final Styling & Handover

    Finishing touches, styling, a final walkthrough and handover of the completed space.

Scope varies by engagement — this is what a full residential design package typically contains.

Working with us remotely

The process does not change if you are in another city.

For projects outside our immediate city, discovery and consultation happen over video call, and site information is gathered through a structured brief: measured drawings or a floor plan, photographs and video of each space, and details of existing services.

Design presentations, revisions and material approvals are handled online, with physical samples couriered where a decision genuinely needs to be made in the hand rather than on a screen. Execution is then coordinated with local contractors against our documentation, with review at defined stages.

The drawing set is the constant. Because it is detailed enough to be built from without us standing beside it, the standard of the outcome does not depend on how close you happen to be to us.
